Kindly remember: the ridiculous hype that offends so many is not of my making.

@we-did-the-time-warp-again asked:

least favorite tea / least favorite sandwich?

for tea: easy answer would be the Snob's Answer like teabag tea, but you can make enjoyable if uninteresting teabag tea if you need to
another easy but incorrect answer would be like teavanna style tea blends, which combine low quality loose leaf tea and aesthetic bits of ingredients with flavoring sprays to create very disappointing but much more expensive than teabags tea
the real answer is bad shou puer, which tastes like swamp and smells fishy and gross.

for sandwiches: when i was a kid my mom would always pack me a tuna sandwich for school but spending hours in a lunchbox with an ice pack always made the sandwich dense and wet with condensation. really unpleasant

Re the tea bags thing. For me it's all about context. If I'm going somewhere for tea and I get tea bags, no thanks. That sucks. If I'm at work and just need something hot to drink, cheap tea bags are fine. Just gotta add lots of sugar. I also prefer tea bags for making home iced tea. Partly because it's easier and cheap. But like there's less tea sediment. Maybe my strainers are just bad but whenever I make cold brew tea there's a lot of junk at the bottom of the pitcher.
