something I remember being very important was the invasive snakehead fish which was a predatory fish that could survive multiple days out of water and even leave its lake or pond to find a new water source. it was my first encounter with the idea of an invasive species. anyway I hope everything is ok they seemed nasty but i lost track of the story when i was about 9
