It can be 35c outside locally for me, but freshwater river fish near a local spring can be at 1c or anywhere on the scale.
The data we find on habitat sheets are almost always the ones meant for humans. Air temps and the like. It is sad but not surprising there isn't much care into finding the care parameters required for our little friends.
