I've come upon three world#.wld files in an old backup dated 2011 which I suspect to be Terraria worlds. Any idea how I can open them if they're so old?
Wow, so after trying to find very old versions of Terraria utilities to open these, it turns out modern TEdit can basically do it (maybe not perfectly, but it works). The versions on these files are 5, 12, and 22. The oldest one was a single player game I was messing around with. The other two were...exactly what I was expecting, and I'm not sure what to do with them. Suffice it to say, both of them were from practically two lifetimes ago at this point, and I'm not really in touch with any of the people involved in its making anymore. Weird time capsule, if nothing else.
