Bad news: I didn't try to preserve my ground beef or prepare much food before Hurricane Lee hit, so that's like $15 going to waste when I really can't afford to spend more.
Good news: at least I updated my Git repo for my game last night and full charged my laptop, so at least I have something constructive to do.
But seriously, two hurricanes in two years? Three in the last five? In maritime Canada? Are we approaching an Umbral Calamity?
Storm's still goin', but the power's been back for a couple hours. Maybe the meat's fine? I tried a burger, and it smelled fine and I am not in stomach hell.
Got the opportunity to tear some gashes into old code, too, as it gets shifted to other places. Hopefully a bit of streamlining, too.
