Me:
what if someone made Jones in the Fast lane as a 90's style action/stunt game show
What I'm thinking:
- Gameplay much like the PC game (yes I'm presuming the reader knows how that works for this) except you get two or three teams of two
- Everyone must have the same total amount for goals
- The board locations are all just set pieces on a huge set that you have to physically run to
- Any actions that usually burn time in the PC game (work, study, etc.) are physical challenges
- Turns are something like 45 or 60 seconds long
- When the bell rings at the end of a turn, if the runner is at a location, they can still finish doing any actions that would not burn time in the PC version (usually buying something)
- If the runner was running between locations, their turn ends immediately on the bell
- Team closest to their goal at the end of game time wins
- Jones shows up to inflict smart-aleck comments during the show, usually between turns
- The bonus round is "Keeping Up with Jones"; probably something like you have two minutes to reach a certain number of points to win; each player of the pair runs for one minute each
