I was watching through Shovelware Diggers on shuffle, and noticed that there are several DOS games/applications which have this distinctive, uh...music??? to them. Most likely, they're procedurally generated from a string, and it outputs a very distinctive sequence of bleeps and blooooooooops, usually paired with a certain set of sound cues for alerts and stuff. It's definitely a sound library that got around, but I'm wondering if it's a Borland library or something else.
