Memories of when Retro Gamer magazine in the UK interviewed me about my old "It Runs Doom" Tumblr blog as part of a larger article about whatever anniversary Doom was celebrating at the time.
They asked for a photo to run alongside the interview, but I wasn't exactly keen on it, so I half-jokingly sent them one where I covered my face with a glossy-paper print-out of my usual avatar.
All credit to them, they ran it without any further questions.
I'm a bit less shy now, but I'll be honest - I'd probably pull the same trick again if asked. Branding, right?
