Kind of upsetting that Twitter is going the way it is, it was always the Hell site, but I wouldn't have stuck around on it for almost 15 years if it wasn't important to me in some way. Met so many amazing people, and just being able to have a space I could rant about whatever I cared about at that moment actually helped me open up and organise my thoughts a lot. I'm going to lose touch with so many people and lose that space I can just rant about menial things and there aren't any good alternative sites either.
I tried mastodon, liked it at first, hated it when the instance I was on got blacklisted by another that had a lot of people I followed on, then it felt isolating and lonely. I never want to go back.
Bluesky is currently a gated community and welcomes literal hate groups. So lmao, no.
Tumblr has a confusing layout and the adult content restrictions, it would be great if it weren't for that. I'm not even posting adult content, but I know from other people that used it extensively that wouldn't matter.
And whilst Cohost is nice, it's too quiet around here sometimes, so I have to be careful what I say because it's that feeling of speaking in a large room and everyone turning to look at you.
I hate Elon Musk so much. He ruined everything.
