My Friendly Neighborhood is one of the most pleasant surprises. A completely goreless survival horror game, that knows how silly it is and absolutely rolls with it dead straight.
I didn't know how much I missed playing these kind of games, where you have to carefully plan your routes and supplies to move around respawning enemies. It really is Resident Evil, but set in Sesame Street.
No cheap jumpscares either, but it absolutely toys with the idea of them when the puppets "grab" you to attack. You know they're coming though, and they just don't shut up with their insane ramblings, so you can't miss them from a mile away hahaha
Another highlight for the year. :)
