Shout out to Legends Arceus for having such an amazing soundtrack filled with traditional Japanese music, and then you fight the Gods of space and time and it turns into goddamn Eurobeat.

I've been thinking about this all day after Scarlet's gym themes just fall so flat (and the Elite 4's theme is sadly bugged, because that one actually is amazing) I also love how Arceus' battle theme is just the same drum beat for almost ten minutes straight and it is unironically one of the best songs in the series.

Not only does it glitch out as part of the music itself, the boss fight even freezes the music and leaves you in silence during certain attacks, it's incredibly intimidating and fitting for what is supposed to be the literal God of the Pokémon world.

God, I love this game's music so much. This is what RPGs rely on to get you pumped up and it absolutely gets the atmosphere right.
