With the recent release of Baulder’s Gate 3 and Armored Core VI I could only pick one game… of course I chose the big robots.
But it made me nostalgic for video stores. As crummy as it was to get a game disc that didn’t work because it was all scratched up or going for a single game only to find it out of stock - it’s still. It paying nearly $100 CDN per game.
Sure a 3 day rental would probably be like $15 now (it was $6 CDN back in 2004). But got some games a weekend is really all you need.
