HOOOLLYYY SHIT! Maximilian_Dood is going to be a character skin in Naraka Bladepoint
AND the game goes free-to-play on the same day the skin releases!
Free-to-play and the Max skin go live July 13th.
For those who don't know, Maximilian_Dood (Max for short) has been making content on Youtube and Twitch for nearly 20 years. He's absolutely one of the most optimistic, enthusiastic, hype content creators I have ever seen. I have been following Max's progress on Youtube and Twitch since 2012, and he's one of the best when it comes to wanting to watch any content involving the following:
- Fighting games
- Final Fantasy VII
- Monster Hunter
- Super Smash Bros
By and large he's not the best player in the world. He admits he's not. But it's his passion, his hype, his enthusiasm for fighting games that keeps people wanting to watch his stuff. He loves fighting games and FFVII like a lot!
The fact he's in what's effectively a melee combat oriented fighting game vibe battle royale is a big deal for Max, and honestly for me as well. I'll be playing Naraka Bladepoint and working to get this skin on July 13th when the game goes free-to-play.
As an aside, the dog's name is Benny. Benny passed away recently, and has been with Max longer than he had been making content on Youtube. Benny was a major part of Max's family AND his content. Having Benny immortalized in this video game with Max brings a smile and a tear to my face ; o; WE MISS YOU BENNY!
