I never fully grasped just how different the early versions of Tetris were until I played the Game Boy version online with a friend on Switch.
if you want some super jank, try the bps tetris on nintendo, or the atari/tengen one. early rotation rules were fucked.
My favorite wack early Tetris is BPS's Tetris 2 + Bombliss.
It's Tetris with hitstun in versus mode
haven't seen vs in that one, just most of the normal game (which is fine)
have you played the super early one
The Famicom one? I have not. The only BPS Tetris I've played is the Game Boy port, Tetris 2 PB, and the one on Saturn
