i thought we were free. i thought we'd just escape this. they are mandating docking stations that i'm sure everyone will ignore. these are some of the worst things introduced to western cities and anyone who uses them deserves to fall off and scrape your knee im sorry. walk. use the bus. bike. use literally anything else.

my opinion on these has always been like. if you like it, buy your own. or better yet, just buy an actual ebike
given how they're treated here, I'm sure they will be a valuable addition to your river ecosystems
godddd, these things drive me nuts. small enough that people bring them inside, but way too big to comfortably be indoors. they go way too fast for sidewalk traffic too.
I actually own 2 E-Scooters privately (One for my father and one for me) and even I am apalled at the state of these public E-Scooters. They're always thrown everywhere, left in bushes, thrown into alleys, pissed on etc.
Also most of the people who rent these public ones have not been properly informed on safety, don't wear a helmet or take any safety precautions whatsoever and also always go flat out with them.
You can literally see the difference in driving when comparing a private owner to a renter.
E-Scooters ARE great cause they got me to save on public transport costs, but by god are they flooding the streets with these rented ones.
