Last summer, Miss KoKo got stuck with seven kittens abandoned in a ditch. She brought them home.
Sam had the most personality and friendliness but nobody would take him.
He was the last one left. Then, the calendar hit October 1st.
Even though we already had two other rescue cats plus two rescue dogs, there was no way I was going to give away a black cat in October.
Sometimes, things turn out for the best. Our home is Sam's forever home.
