ok so apparently the Gundam Metaverse is so poorly constructed that entire CAD models for as-yet-unreleased kits, fully parted out, were found included in the game files unencrypted. someone has already printed the hg rising freedom apparently. that's beautiful. that's incredible. i love that

god I'd love to do that too. I'd like to think this is karma biting them in the ass for appealing to the homophobic gundam fans earlier this year.
i'm sure there's some series of guys-that-know-guys you can ask to procure a copy of gundam metaverse v1a
oh I know there are ways, but I don't have a 3D printer or even any 3D modelling software installed to even view them so it's alright. I'm giggling like an idiot at the thought of all this.
I mostly haven't been a fan of Fukuda's work on gundam, but I gotta give credit where it's due: that new 'dam of his sure is Free.
Yeah basically all you gotta do is manual panel lining. Checked and they also got the Gunpla box art files in there too so the Daban folks are probably popping off at how easy it is to get some bootlegs going.
On second look the boxart is not very high-res but we are still absolutely getting a million Rising Freedom bootlegs from Daban.
