Yeah, that's right. The Guardian published the article and had nothing to do with the poll. MS added it on their republished copy without telling them.

Ugh yeah. It's a weird thing with archive.today, I get it sometimes (and only in some browsers??), and I've seen other people complain about it.
I found an archive.org copy of one of the two links and switched to that, but they don't seem to have caught the other one.
