So I've got a portion of my monthly budget set aside for donating to peoples kofis, gofundmes, etc, but I'd been getting distressed that many of my donations ended up for naught as people simply didn't get enough money that they desperately needed.
So for the past year I tried something different. I donated the majority of that budget to one specific person's gofundme to see if I could actually make a difference in just one persons life.
And they're finally in a good enough place that they closed the gofundme. It feels strange, but nice.
