Not Quite "Frostpunk in Space," it had its own uh, spin on things. The game makes you think you need to push ahead at a breakneck pace, but taking it slow and only moving forward when you've depleted the early systems means you're ready to sprint when you need to.
Not a lot of replayability, and your enjoyment will depend on how well you can manage your limited resources and workers.
(also the mess hall techs are busted OP like utterly broken the other food techs are like "oh man lets get you an extra 0.1 food per building per day" and the mess hall is like "hey what if we cut your food consumption in half." Recycling is also the name of the game, the stability hit is worth it, you'll be mostly self sufficient by the late game if you commit to a recycling sector fed by the waste from all your other sectors)
