Glory be to those who linger.

The gold standard of retro FPS design does not fail to deliver a sluice to match. Oh sure, it's a one dimensional sluice (sluice slang for a sluice that only goes one way) but what a ride this sluice is. No less than three levels of water, secrets and new areas that are accessible by using the additional height gained from swimming in water, the most deep and immersive form of sluice interaction gaming can provide. Certainly we here at SluiceHype celebrate all manner of puzzle-based sluices, and it's perfectly fine for "flooded" to just mean "inaccessible" but when the water physics are involved? When you are WITHIN THE SLUICE? Baby, it doesn't get any better than that. We can forgive a 1DS under these circumstances because really, why would you ever want the water to go down? This is one sluice we hope to keep raising.

I think it was fairly even in the end, had they not disconnected. I was hoping for a quick check mate around 9.Qf3, but it is an easy thing to spot in hindsight.

Still have no idea what a Fried Liver Defense is, or what it meants to be anti it.
