In 2021, I streamed Phantasy Star to expose my then-audience to an RPG they'd never heard of. Follwed up by Phantasy Star II, which I had never gotten through the first dungeon before. And then, as I'm fond of pointing out, I spent 15 hours in just one of the dungeons by refusing to use the guidebook that came with the game1.
Anymew, a bitsy ways into PS1 I doodled up this costume change for my pngtuber. I intended to doodle up something new for finally playing through PS3 but my memories of PS3 is that the first main character is an absolute twat so I haven't been motivated to doodle up a new one.2

The lack of old manuals in some re-releases is a sin, but a deadly sin for Phantasy Star 2. The PDF that comes with the ROM release on Steam is an outdated one-pager on how to start up and use the original emulator they provided.
