Yesterday i felt like maybe i should do something creative, so i downloaded Godot on a whim.
I have 0 expirience in game dev or coding, so lets see how far i can get.
Trying to make a tiny Tower Defense game to get startet.
And i did manage to make a tiny scene featuring a tower and an enemy who gets damaged by the tower and disappears after getting shot.
The enemy is even walking across a stage and the towers follows his movement.
Its alot closer to an animation rn tho, theres no way to interact with anything on screen haha.
Next on the list are
-making multiple enemies spawn at different times
-setting the framework for manually placing towers
-making the tower upgradeable
-maybe adding physical projectiles instead of the current hitscan
Im also trying to make it a lil future proof, so that i can change up the towers, enemies or map without it falling all apart.
Most of the time im stunlocked and need no watch a video on how to achieve want i want to do haha.
