As these last hours come to pass and Death watches the last few grains of Cohost's timer fall and preparing to sever its lifeline and show it the great sandy dessert it must cross to reach its afterlife, I would like to say thank you to all that have come across my Discworld posts. I hope that at least some of them have brought joy and insight into your lives. I would like to leave you all with one last quote. One that I think about regularly when I am feeling down.
"Rain don’t fall on a witch if she doesn’t want it to, although personally I prefer to get wet and be thankful.”
“Thankful for what?” said Tiffany.
“That I’ll get dry later."
Terry Pratchet -- A Hat Full of Sky
When times get tough, when things just aren't going your way, when you see nothing but darkness ahead of you, when the rain seems to only be falling on you, trust that the sky will clear, trust that the sun will show itself again, and trust that things will get better. Keep in mind that sometimes the only way out is through and that the joy you will enjoy at the end of the day will taste all the sweeter for making it out. But for that to happen, you must trust that it will get better. It may end up that you need to do a bit of work, yourself, but it will get better.
