Magic items are invented all the time, but four in particular pushed adventuring from the domain of mercenaries who lived short and violent lives to the domain of everyday folks who could reasonably expect to survive pursuing their passion.

These are so cool and imaginative!!
Hooooly heck would my life ever be different if I had access to these sorts of itemss
Some of these would be useful for all sorts of mundane things, tooo
Like, with nullgrass, you could get a piercing and realize within the next few hours either you don't like it or that it's VERRRY slightly off and have it redone
With sheltrite, I'd probably be way less afraid of getting on ladders to work on high places
With the barrier band, everyone has an umbrella now as a fashion accessory!
With the tether........... someone could stake underneath the ceiling of a large room and repeatedly loop themselves back to the top before they hit the ground, and keep looping until they're not having fun anymore...... with sheltrite and possibly nullgrass brought as backup if that someone doesn't time the recall right ehehhh.
Ending the loop could probably be done with another tether on the floor (...depending on how momentum conservation works with this spell), or with just the sheltrite + nullgrass combo if you're okay with that kind of loop termination.
If the tether's recall can be automated, then I can see recreational falling even being a sort of relaxing thing after getting over the initial thrill.............
Ahh thank you! It gives me warm and fuzzy feelings that you've imagined these cool scenarios :D I love it when people find mundane uses for magic things.
