Imagine we live in “a better world”. You don’t have to spend as much time in your life performing labor. What sort of community space (private or public) do you and your friends meet in regularly to hang out?
Honestly I really really really love a public square that's like, bordered by good shops and food and stuff. A couple food cart pods in Portland have kind of the right vibe. I want them to be SUPER transit-accessible, lots of bike paths, maybe on a river or near some parks? That's heaven to me.
For an indoor spot (that isn't just a house), probably like a friendly local game shop type of place. Lots of tables, games, maybe some food options. A CRT in the back with a GameCube.
Or alternatively just... a nice house! A place with a BIG kitchen and lots of table space and chairs. And a porch.
