I can’t claim to have invented listening to and talking about music on Fridays (or can I???), but Fridays are when folks on a Discord server I’m in post their weekly tapmusic.net 3x3’s, and so Fridays were also when I was posting my 60’ mixtapes when I first started chostin’.

Back in the day, I participated in a mix CD exchange called Mixmania. It was kind of like a secret santa where everyone would get one person and send them a mix CD with a theme. You wouldn't put any identifying information on the CD, not even the tracklist. Then, everyone would post what they included on their mix CD and try to figure out who got them. I participated a few times with themes that included instrumental music and Christmas music.
Seeing this reminds me of those days.

this is pretty cool! a friend of mine does mixtapes like this but they usually go for 80 minutes instead of 60 cause thats the limit of a CD, and they like to share the physical CDs with friends
