Hi I'm high and that got me thinking,
Suddenly being tiny in a giant room or giant in a tiny city in real life or whatever would probably feel uncanny and disorienting and would require some getting used to. You'd have to like, both train your brain to see people with extreme height differences as equal autonomous individuals and train your brain to not constantly mentally swap perspectives. If that makes sense?
You know that effect where you hold a repeating pattern close enough to your face to block your peripheral vision and because your eyes can't use depth perception you can't gauge the distance of the pattern from where you are, so you can like swap your focus from near to far? idk if there's a name for that, but that's generally the same thing I'm talking about here. Like if I were giant irl it'd probably be hard for me to not try to imagine from a smaller person's perspective and then get dizzy or something.
