Aside from creating a healthier environment for minors in the furry fandom (since FA is a 13+ site) without simultaneously creating a hostile environment for NSFW artists, an additional perk of this site update is that a few pedophiles are crawling out the woodwork to loudly complain about it, thus painting a huge target on their backs. I seriously haven't been this happy with anything regarding FurAffinity since they (finally) took a stance against nazis.
