I personally go pretty simple usually, omelette-ish egg, American cheese, maybe some mayo and mustard on an English muffin. If I can get a good veggie sausage patty I'm about it, but egg and cheese is a good simple baseline.
That's fuckin valid, I love me a breakfast burrito, egg cheese and some hash browns or tots and plenty of sauce 🤤
CHORIZO
actually i haven't had this but wondering if green peppers wud clash with it
Ooh I haven't had chorizo in a good minute... I should try to find some decent veggie chorizo to use
Biscuit, fried egg, pork sausage, American cheese, some kind of spicy sauce. Two of them. Mmmmmmmm
Yeyeyeye Cholula is one of my fave hot sauces, it’s very good. That and Valentina’s.
i used to work kitchen during breakfast at a local bakery and would make myself two over easy eggs, cheddar cheese, crispy bacon, tabasco on sourdough or white bread and then id dip it in homemade buttermilk ranch we made. i dream of her often 🥺
Okay so when I make a breakfast sandwich, I go for what I call a WEBC (web-ick). You heat up two frozen eggo waffles, fry two sliced of bologna, fry an egg in the bologna juice, then toast the inner surface of your waffles in the pan, assemble with added slice of american cheese. I tried cheddar once and it was evil on this sandwich. Some siracha would probably also slap on there but I've never had siracha at the time of making one.
Love me an English muffin, hash brown, egg, cheese (provolone or pepper jack usually), and bacon. Been meaning to try making one in the bdg style: https://youtu.be/IrIb7RSJL2I?si=qfux8rYjyRBdhUj_ it seems really good!
We love BDG in this house! I need to get on that technique as well. I like provolone and pepper jack for a breakfast sandwich if I'm getting away from American cheese, those don't feel like it overpowers as much as like a cheddar would
Sausage patty, egg, and cheese on a biscuit. You can substitute the meat for any other decent protein, but the egg and cheese is key. A bagel can also do in a pinch.
