Been playing ESO super casually since the Morrowind expansion in 2018. Figuring out mechanics in this game still doesn't feel near as enjoyable or intuitive as in Final Fantasy XIV. Also, FFXIV is so carefully balanced that you can play on PC all the way through endgame and never feel compelled to install any add-ons, meanwhile there are numerous ESO addons that I couldn't live without (like Skyshards and Lazy Writ Crafting).

And yet... I still find myself coming back, starting a new character, and getting more hooked than I did the last time I played. I actually find it relaxing grinding the craft skills and gathering materials while occasionally gaining levels/skill points to try my own "builds" while doing solo content and public dungeons.

I started on PS4, but eventually switched to PC. Not sure how much time I spent there though. Might be identical to pc.

Just had a frustrating run today with one guy that wanted to speed run, another guy that was going every random which way (I later discovered he was trying to proc a secret boss without ever communicating that), and an unfortunate newbish tank that rolled into one of the newest dungeons by chance

This group ended up disbanding 😅

Maybe one day I'll group up with a static group of folks, but until then I much prefer the solo experience. It's a nice break from FFXIV, at least
