there's probably 6 of us in here. grace, a very childish and sporadic girl who loves having fun. lucille, a confusing yet lovable dog with very logical processing. silver, our shining star in the dark that isnt afraid to express her attitude. felix, the star of the play who loves to entertain. maddison, the mother of the whole family. and a newcomer, who has shaken up the system with his deeply complex identity and incredible ability to fluster.
some of these profiles may overlap with what is truly there. maybe the real count of fragments is less. maybe there's more. its hard to say for certain. the best thing to do is simply take note of this possibility. keep loving what we have now and creating a better life for our future. focusing on the fine details isnt fun, and has often resulted in errors that sting.
in our time we have naturally fell into a guiding principle that works for our life. we never put concious thought into it, but all of the smaller goals we have accomplished have led us to what feels the most natural.
- let the dog have fun. in our case, this tends to be grace. we still attribute her with therian qualities, but there is no denying that she is a child at heart. her playtime is incredibly important for giving the heavy lifters a rest.
- make sure the dog can have fun. dont let obligations pile up too much. go make that appointment. get your chores out of the way. take care of the body. eat well. sleep well. take vitamins. so such. if you let these things pile up too much, then it becomes the dog that is burdened with a full time job of playing with toys.
