A leaked draft from December of the Open Gaming License for the popular roleplaying game Dungeons & Dragons threatens to crack down on the right of third-party products to use the gaming system to create their wares for free.Third parties would owe a percentage of profits and have to register all products (including past ones) with the parent company, Wizards of the Coast.
The ABA remains partial to Chaosium Inc.'s roleplaying game Call of Cthulhu, where players can assume the roles of heroic lawyers (among other things), and where the ability to speak Latin and legal knowledge can be more powerful than a Tarrasque. Just like in real life.
