oh they're So close to just saying the quiet part out loud. the secret second part of the phrase "we need to foster a community of solidarity and protection" is, and always has been, "From You."

stalking and harassment of trans women is okay and fair game because we say mean things. we divide the community. we wreck their spaces. we're just too loud. it's all well-meaning, anyway, they're just trying to get us to be better, more cooperative, quieter.

anger, vulgarity, self-defense - all of these things are just so unlikeable and so masculine. that sort of behavior just isn't okay, it's scary, it makes people worry about their safety. we all want a nice, safe community, right? nevermind that their definition of safety quietly precludes that we stop talking about our own. that we stop talking at all.

if only we'd just listen, maybe we could all achieve their perfect utopic ideal of a queer community. one where infighting is gone, everyone uplifts each other, and the trans women have all mysteriously gone away.

"deserving to be angry" = "being unlikeable" is so perfectly 1-to-1 the trans version of "you'd be prettier if you smiled" that it's just completely on the nose. Whoops, looks like someone did a misogyny!

Of course if you ever try to tell one of these weirdos that they're being misogynistic they think it's impossible because they're the ones who were AFAB. There's that bioessentialism again. Where'd that come from? It can't possibly be from all the self professed former TERFs they allowed into their movement. Must be us hysterical trannies imagining it again.
