Yep, and they got to it in plenty of time to prevent complications, and it'll never give me any trouble again. I'm just reeling from accepting the reality of what was going on with me. People talk about appendicitis all the time as if it's a hangnail, and from a medical perspective it almost is, virtually nobody has serious complications from it if they receive treatment, but it is definitely an extremely serious condition
I am glad to hear this. I got mine out at age of 7, but I keep reading the stories of people who got acute and dangerous appendicitis while being cut off from civilization (up to one doctor reportedly operated on himself), so I am very relieved that you are ok.
