After prototyping game mechanics for this little festive winter game for some time, I'm pleased to announce that I'm scrapping said mechanics entirely. Why? Because they just distract you from the most important thing, which is enjoying the fabulous gay winter magic atmosphere. No fancy mechanics needed for that.
Currently, I'm working on level design and graphics, and it feels like it's going to the right direction there. Ideas on how to get the atmosphere right are also flowing at a healthy pace, which is promising. Nothing could go wrong with this, right? A week is more than enough to make a game, isn't it? π
