End of an era, I guess. Here are some messages I got from trans players in EVE over the past year.
It was a good run, eh? It gave me something to do every morning. Log into EVE, check on my depots. I'm usually bad at making new habits, but this was one I was able to keep up. I guess I have no excuse when I shrug at New Year's resolutions I'm faltering on.
Why cant you do it anymore? Just not playing the game anymore or did something else happen?
Too many people complained to the GMs, so I and others were put on notice to stop.
Yeah it's kind of impressive that people actually took time out of their day to write support tickets wanting the "Trans Rights Are Human Rights" boxes floating in space taken down.
Judging from all the depots removed, it looks like anything with even just the words "trans rights" on it is now banned in space. Someone even came in a shot my now unnamed depot afterwards before I picked it back up lol. I'm still pondering what I'll do now, since simply leaving it at this feels wrong.
