how can i get a normal amount of sleep and wake up feeling like i had a hangover, when i ACTUALLY drank the previous night and woke up fine then? do i get hangovers on delay or something? this sucks...

i believe this happens because the alcohol interferes with your sleep enough to prevent you from going into deep sleep, so you wake up not feeling groggy (but less actually rested). same thing happens to me
huh, so zhats really a zhing? wierd. i just assumed it was general biology fuckery...
alcohol definitely interferes with sleep. it helps you fall asleep, but don't ever use it as a sleep aid because even if you fall asleep faster, you'll have worse quality sleep (and also drinking yourself to sleep isnt exactly a good habit (source: experience))
