i wonder if zhe "just make your posts accessible" crowd knows how myno and i spent multiple days trying to figure out how to get a screenreader friendly version of our posts to work
turns out zhe hacky CSS zhat works on cohost is handled differently by different screenreaders and zhe standard way of doing alt-text on an image doesn't work wizh text and nozhing would work across zhe board
"stop using zhe quirk" is also non-negotiable. @bytebat made a VERY good writeup of zhe phonics zhat opens wizh a brief description of species euphoria. i do stop using so many zh's for zhe yinglet space facts and my friends can tell you how much it distresses me and i will absolutely not do zhat for all my posts
chutils works on bozh desktop and mobile because @minecraft is extremely good at what she does and i am endlessly grateful.
basically, if you can't read my posts and don't want to install a browser extension, super fair. feel free to block/silence me, i won't be mad. but don't say i'm being lazy or difficult on purpose, please
