does any language have a single word for platonic love?
like, i love my friends, so so much, but love in english has certain innate romantic connotations? sort of? i want language to be better.

I think Ancient Greek definitely covered some bases with this
Ancient Greek had different words for love, with only one of them (eros) being romantically/sexually connotated
In that, philia would probably fit best for platonic love between friends
