More than I could have hoped for. I can't even begin to describe how much I love this. Intensely melancholy, but so beautiful. So heartfelt. We get only a few details of the scene, but between the lines you can clearly see the long hours of blessed agony, the emotional turmoil that drives both participants to seek love in a way that appears adversarial, but is love nonetheless. Truly I think there is beauty in pain, and Otter has illustrated that so artfully here. I'd give it a standing ovation if I could.
