I was going to write a big vent post, but then I realized it wouldn't do anyone any good.
The world used to feel apathetic.
Now it feels actively hostile.
And I'm so out of energy. And so out of options.

It's cult capitalism; it was always there, it's just gotten harder to ignore. Remember, if they're whining, you're winning.
edit: to clarify, what I mean is that, when cultists and fascists are losing, they get desperate, and when they're desperate they make more noise. It's annoying listening to them whine but at least it's the sound of progress.

I hate bullies... You're not a cog, you're a person. You deserve to be a person. And you deserve to be the person you want to be. Clearly NEED to be. That desire is TRUTH. And when people suggest you go against that desire? Those are LIES. We're all working to change society into one that's more caring and gentle, but as we make headway those who want the brutish status quo get more and more noisy. They don't matter one iota. There will always be bullies that deny the truth. Bullies that gaslight you and try to dictate who and what you can and cannot be and in what way you live YOUR life. And it's none of their business. It is in fact a life that's all your own and no one else's. You may not yet have much belief in yourself, and that's to be expected from anyone beaten down by this machine... but keep working towards trusting and believing in yourself more. Keep aspiring to be a clearer and bolder representation of yourself. You deserve it friend. You are worth it.

I have been in this machine for so long, and I dove into it so unquestioningly, that I fear I've been having a good number of problems extracting my brain from the osmotic slop we all marinate in so constantly.
