An important PSA for the new year, and well-written, Voss. Death, though not my favorite topic, is important in world-building and storytelling when used well, and this depiction - however staged it may be for dramatic effect - is an example of solid use of the topic to build a setting and a message.

TL;DR: well done, Voss!

Thank you very much, Nile! Death is absolutely a heavy topic and should always be used with respect for the impact it has. I had a good template to follow here in those real-world PSAs, and I feel I did well in translating it to the setting. I'm glad you feel the same!

Glad you like it! There's a lot of room to experiment with fiction in different formats, and this one seems to do a good job helping the reader visualize a scene with strong control of the pacing. I may do more in-fiction ad spots like this in the future.
