i got real pissed off at the supermarket self-checkout this morning because they have cameras on the checkout just watching your face the entire time now. it's insane. they have a separate top-down camera watching your hands in case you try to put a pistachio through as a peanut or some shit, and for some reason they now have this webcam also close-up recording my face. what fucking benefit is that to you you piece of shit. i want to vandalise all this garbage

i'm sure they have some Extremely Advanced AI Emotion Detection AI Algorithms AI that work 100.0% of the time to watch for peoples' physiognomic tells (universal across all humans, of course) that they're shoplifting
the fact that there are companies making money off that face camera, whatever the fuck it's there for, is going to turn people into (totally justified) terrorists
ugh yeah, they have these at my local coles now. it's all performative nonsense anyway. they're just hoping to intimidate you
