absolutely! she's very much the physically affectionate type, and she gives great hugs since her body is smooth, squishy, and disperses heat evenly (the sensation of pressing against her is comparable to a cool pillow on a warm night).
she's also very empathetic and enjoys trying to comfort/cheer up people who are uncomfortable or upset, though the culture/language differences between Earth and her home planet sometimes mean that she'll miss signals or her attempts may come off a little awkward/over-the-top. it's the thought that counts, though!
