Disclaimer: I don't play Monster Hunter, I just really like Nargacuga.

What even are you? A dragon bat gryphon thing. Yeah, I think that about sums it up. I think you're the best thing about Monster Hunter, and if I had a giant sword, I would stop people from hunting you. Your parts can't be that essential, right? Monster Hunter players, feel free to tell me in the comments.

Narga's weapons are consistently good (high sharpness and crit chance, very good in games where raw damage+crit is the meta), and its armour gives skill points in increased critical hit rate and easier evasion

But also Monhun suffers from a pretty heavy dose of gameplay-and-story separation in that lore-wise, the repeated hunting of the same quest isn't a thing, and if you read the quest descriptions, at least most are fairly reasonable "this monster is causing trouble in some way" ones.

Though a few are pretty silly, like "My husband's got insomnia. Over the years, I've tried knocking him out to get him to sleep, but it turned out that's not a great idea... So I want you to capture a Malfestio to hypnotize him!" from Generations Ultimate. Malfestio is an owl-like monster that among other powers can put you to sleep.
