I've started a new Steam Curator page: Scattered Gems
The goal of this page is to gradually, over the years, curate some really unique and beloved Steam games that have low reviews/sales. Currently, my goal is to focus on games that have less than 2000 Steam reviews each. I want to help spread the word on games that you don't see on your home page algorithm over and over again. Some of these games are in genres that just don't sell very well on Steam, period.
How do I pick games? A chunk of these are ones I've played and loved. I sorted my Steam library by review count using this website, which is really handy for figuring out which games you own could use some more love. Many other games, that I haven't played yet, I got from passionate recommendations in the comments sections of these survey posts.
I won't be accepting direct submissions or suggestions for games to add, as I want to steadily curate it myself over time.
Right now I've got 50 recommendations up there, and I think you'll really enjoy them. Once you follow a few Curators you like, you can conveniently browse this page as a sort of "curated Steam home page."
Unrelated, but I also run a Steam Curator called IGOC Recommends, for games made by Cohost users. You can follow it here, and if you're a game developer yourself and use Cohost, you can submit your game to be added to that one using this form
You might be able to find some other Curators to follow with this list of recommended Steam Curators.
Thanks for reading!
