Ayo, I'm back. Gonna start posting here again.
First some blogging about what's been up with me lately if you'd like to read.
I, like many, desperately want to leave twitter. but I'm too attached to being able to see a lot of the artists i follow on there, maybe I should just make a list of the ones I especially like and see if they're on here or elsewhere.
Unrelated, I've also dropped a pretty major part of my life and day to day recently, that being sinking an ungodly amount of hours in Destiny 2 (3468 hours on steam, who knows how big that number is total) cause it got to the point where I realized that game is never going to be what I want from it and it was unhealthy for me to hope that was going to change for the better and keep playing. Basically seems to be designed to be good but not so good that it leaves you satisfied, probably makes more money that way. At the moment it seems to have been replaced by Deep Rock Galactic which I'm playing with my gf. We're having fun, shenanigans often ensue, and we've both contracted the brain rot that is "Rock and Stone".
I also managed to track down a fully working copy of Jet Set Radio Future on the og Xbox and have had a blast with it, except for Skyscraper District. That area can go to hell. (plus there's a Sega Rally game that's also on the disk but who gets these disks for the rally game lol). I had gotten a copy about a year or so ago but sadly it was scratched when I got it and only worked until about halfway into the game before freezing on a loading screen. This one works though so I'm a happy Rudie.
Otherwise I'm going well, haven't done any drawing in a while but I also don't really like posting pencil sketches regardless as I don't think most people are interested in really badly photographed sketches by an amateur artist. I'll go digital some day and sit down and learn it.
I have been doing a lot of warhammer 40k miniature painting lately not that I think i've posted any of those here before so I may start doing so when I decide to sit down and catalogue them. There's a couple I'm proud of so might start with those. It's a fun hobby, let's me be creative in a way I haven't been before. I'm learning alot about colour and composition from it. Helps that there's a fun game to go along with it too.
