Wow, I don't know much about this, but it's pretty wild: A rip of the video from an interactive VHD disc. The "interactivity" is barely there; it seems to mostly be based around timed usage of the pause button and an on-screen display of the score depending on the timing. Still! What a find, and it's a very charming production with some nice original art.

I've only been able to watch a little bit of this so far, but it seems to be the same approach taken for The First National Kidisk laserdisc we got in the US. Somehow, while I was aware of VHDs that you could use with an MSX (including an fmv text adventure from T&E Soft), I wasn't aware of interactive VHDs that were designed just for standard players. Now I'm wondering how many are out there. The laserdisc database (which also catalogues VHDs, CEDs, and HD-DVDs) lists a direct sequel to this one, but there's no clear tag for interactive VHDs.
