My girlfriend Kara is currently between jobs and had to leave her old apartment as a result. She’s in the process of finding a new job, and she’ll be staying at my place until she does, but she eventually wants to get another room with some housemates to make living expenses affordable. At the end of March, my partner and I were interrupted during the cleanup of our beef stew dinner when a 90mph police chase drove a car into our living room wall. And then the car caught on fire. It sucked, and it sucked more so because I didn't get to secure the beef stew leftovers.

We had to leave our old place for an unplanned apartment hunt while we relied on family and friends.
